And I finish this just before the deadline! Whoa! My buddy is having her retirement party May 15 to celebrate her retirement from the US Navy after 21 years of service! I can't imagine dedicating all that time and sweat and effort, but damn, I'm proud of you Darwin!

Update: ooo, competing light sources. This should be interesting with lighting effects...

Update: Flats! Testing out some textures in the background while I'm at it. I've always loved that look in other people's art. Garrett's vest is so very Han Solo-ish. <3

Update: full inks! Moving on to the colors while I have teh time. Let me know if any details are off Darwin, and I'll add them as I go! Will have to get a reference for Garrett's holstered piece there. What's the model? (We probably have it if it's not a fantasy futuristic piece*cough*)

Update: half inked. I need to be less busy. I just realized Cabal's coat does NOT have a waist wrap. I needed something else down there in that part, hope you don't mind a wee bit artistic license Darwin!

These characters belong to Darwin and the comic Only Half! Read the comic and help Darwin get into the top 100 over at Drunk Duck! That ought to make the admin notice her and FINALLY feature her comic (which should have been featured a while ago!)

Keep checking back tomorrow as this ought to quickly progress. I don't think I've ever drawn a fight scene involving more than 2 people at once. This was fun! And difficult...but mostly fun!
